The atmosphere of the game is heavily influenced by the film Scarface and the television series Miami Vice
Rockstar Vienna also packaged it in the previous game in the series, Grand Theft Auto III, and sold it as Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack for the Xbox.[1] The fictional city, called “Vice City,” was based on the American city of Miami in the 1980s, with Art Deco buildings and a faithful representation of the era in music, clothing, and cars.
