The goal was to give us a chance to appreciate the gift given to us by the many top-notch actors who contributed to this production, which, by the way, is enjoyable and appreciated by many, albeit unevenly
critics.
Many viewers have heard stories from a similar angle, but the picture here remains exciting as you approach a more convoluted but well-crafted plot with female protagonists, each of whom confidently grabs our attention every time she appears
At the halfway point, we can’t tell if that sense of urgency as we learn more and more about what’s going on will continue at the level it currently is, but given the subject matter, the budget, and the talent pool they were able to put it on screen with, the landing will be hard to miss, mostly because of how solid the series feels.
