Billy Bob Thornton delivers his grizzled, snarky, no nonsense lines with typical Billy Bob Thornton sarcasm
There’s one scene in one of the first few episodes where Thornton’s character gives a long speech about the necessity of petroleum in every area of our lives, which definitely sounds like propaganda written into the script the oil industry, but none of what he says is untrue.
Kind of funny that the first few episodes are sponsored by the American Petroleum Institute and feature ads showing oil and petroleum workers
Overall I think this is going to be a great show, the writing is great, the acting is great, and the characters are very human.
