Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” – the book is 82 chapters long
Men and women live in a giant silo underground with various regulations that they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic, crumbling world above ground. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what sci-fi is all about.
Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull air
The fans on the ground in several episodes spin in the wrong direction, with respect to the orientation of the blades. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Should Binge-Watch (2023).
It seems like they don’t have a long enough plot so they try to stretch out the episodes starting with season 1
The first few episodes were so good that they had me glued to my chair, but they’ve since stopped advancing the plot, they keep going into these dark side stories that are supposed to connect you to a specific character and form a deeper connection with them, but they fail miserably at doing so. You can afford three filler episodes in a row in a 15-20 episode season, but when you go with a 10 episode per season plan and half of it is eaten up by filler side episodes, it gets just boring.
Edit: The above review was written after the end of episode 5, my faith in the show has been restored now after episode 7
My wife went from “oh my god a new episode of Silo came out, come on get the home theater ready, I’ll go get the snacks ready” to “hey Silo came out, wanna watch it?” At this point I’m not sure we can even finish the season, we’re one filler away from completely forgetting about it.
